La Maison du Chocolat is an exclusive handcrafted boutique chocolate manufacturer using only the finest ingredients to create a unique Kiwi range of products. Situated on Auckland’s North Shore in Beach Haven Village. One of the Shore’s hidden treasures Beach Haven is situated amongst bush walks and little known beaches – an old fashioned Village community. La Maison du Chocolat started manufacturing in 1995 growing to its current location in 2001.
The La Maison premier truffles are uniquely square in shape and handcrafted from start to finish. Our chocolates are not full of imported creams but centred with exquisite handmade fillings and with a great range of flavours to suit all pallets from Gin & Lemon to Capuccino to Sensational Strawberry. The range also includes Truffle logs – creamy & smooth and Nostalgia clusters – rocky road, coconut rough and others. Only quality ingredients are used and where there is alcohol content we always use the real thing not just some flavouring product!
New Zealand Edibles range features the acclaimed NZ Fruit Sensations – a selection of NZ fruits are freeze dried and then dipped in rich dark or white chocolate. This very unique product has been featured in the NZ Cuisine magazine as one of the taste sensations during a NZ wide chocolate tasting investigation. The drying process retains the natural flavour of the fruits and leaves the fruit as crisp as a wafer. A taste you won’t have experienced before! Along with these are many Kiwi icons such as our Kiwi and Sheep droppings, mallow coffee stirrers and handmade fudge.
